Terms of Service

The service

Sophroic provides color personality assessments, AI-generated reports and coaching, and team features. Results are for self-discovery and team understanding only. They are not clinical, diagnostic, medical, or legal advice, and they must not be used as the basis for hiring, promotion, credit, housing, or any decision with legal or similarly significant effect on a person.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use Sophroic.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

• Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed through Stripe. Group plans bill per seat in 5-seat increments.
• Cancel anytime from your account's Manage billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are not refunded. If something went wrong on our side, email us within 14 days of a charge and we will make it right.
• Prices may change; we will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice by email before a renewal price changes.

Teams and consent

Team managers may invite members and, with each member's consent, view their results. Managers agree to use results only for team understanding and coaching, never for employment screening or evaluation. Members may decline or withdraw sharing.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unauthorized access, scraping of other users' data, reselling without agreement, or use of the AI features to generate unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Content and ownership

You own your assessment answers and results. You grant us the license needed to operate the service (store your data, generate your reports, show results to those you have authorized). The Sophroic software, brand, question bank, and content remain ours.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". AI-generated content can be imperfect; use judgment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page and, for significant changes, by email, with the new terms applying from your next renewal.
