Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, and a display name if you add one.
• Assessment data: your answers and the resulting color profile, including retakes and, on paid plans, your assessment history.
• Team data: if you join a team, your membership and your consent choice about sharing results with your team manager.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we store your subscription status and Stripe customer reference.
• Usage basics: standard server logs (IP, browser type) needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

• To run the assessment, generate your reports, and show your results and history.
• To power optional AI features: your color profile and report text are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write your report and answer your coaching questions. This content is not used to train their models.
• To operate teams: your results are visible to your team manager only if you consented when joining. You can ask your manager or us to withdraw sharing.
• To send account emails (sign-in links, team invitations). We do not sell your data, and we do not send marketing email without your consent.
• To bill subscriptions through Stripe.

Who processes it

We use a small set of processors to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Netlify (hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic (AI report and coaching generation). Each receives only what it needs.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data.
• We do not use your results for hiring screening, credit, or any automated decision with legal effect.
• Personality results are for self-discovery and team understanding, not clinical or diagnostic use.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and results while your account exists so your history works. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing accounts@sophroic.com. We delete or anonymize within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including GDPR and CCPA regions), you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your data, and to object to processing. Email us and we will honor these rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: session cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
